I'm a backend-focused full stack developer with a passion for building software that helps people.

Currently a Computer Science and Data Science major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison focused on expanding my technical knowledge in full stack development, data science, and cybersecurity.

Hey, welcome to my site!

This serves as a personal website to showcase some of my projects, provide a digital resume, and give updates on my journey as a developer. Also I plan to use it to test out some mini-projects (like Bookshelf).

My name is Blaize Lahman, I'm currently a Junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (roll badge!) double majoring in Computer Science and Data Science and pursuing a certificate in Economic Analytics.

I have been coding seriously since 2023, and my current programming interests include terminal apps, analytic tools, open source, and basically anything that can provide a service to people.

As far as development work goes, I am an incoming Software Engineer Intern on the Dell CSG team, where I will work during Summer 2026. I also work for the Department of Computer Science here at UW where I continue to develop technical skills as an undergraduate TA for CS320, an intermediate Data Programming course taught in Python.

Outside of programming I enjoy being out in nature (hiking and fishing), spending time with friends and family, and learning the guitar.

A course enrollment tool for UW-Madison students that sends user-specified notifications for course openings. Currently serves more than 200 UW-Madison students and 600+ active alerts.
